I loved being with Trish and Jim for their wedding at Illawarra Yacht Club recently!  Not only are they a lovely couple, I was able to stay with family, catch up with my sister Allyson, her husband Paul and their delicious new daughter Lucy.  (Yes, photos of her to come!)

Trish’s family is based near Illawarra, so she and Jim travelled from their home in Tamworth to be married amongst friends and family.

This weekend saw me in Sydney, as Matron of Honour for my lovely friend and cousin, Allyson.  We have now, together, thrown off our McKenna-shackles and become somebody else’s wife (as Allyson was my bridesmaid in 2000, when I married John).

Congratulations to Allyson and Paul on the beginning of their new life together.  I love you both.

As MoH, there isn’t much room to fit a 5kg DSLR camera in your gown, so I didn’t take many photos.  Allyson’s cousin on the other side of her family is a professional wedding photographer also, so he took care of capturing the day.
